• Cailyn Blair

    Cailyn has dedicated most of her life to dance, starting at the age of three. She began her training in various styles, including pointe, ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, and hip hop. At Rio Rancho High School, she competed on the Rhythamettes dance team under the guidance of coach Jose Chacon. As team captain for two consecutive years, Cailyn led her team to success in competitions like the Spirit of Hope in the jazz category and the APS Spirit Invite in Pom.

    Cailyn also performed with the Master Dance Company at Rio Rancho High School for four years, directed by Lois Moreno and Selena Green. In her final year, she was honored with the Excellence in Dance award.

    Cailyn is excited to share her passion and expertise at Green Dance Studio with the next generation of dancers and help them achieve their personal and professional dance goals.

  • Jose Chacon

    Jose is a seasoned dance educator who began his journey in 1998 in Texas, specializing in ballet, tap, and jazz. He initially studied at the University of North Texas before transferring to the University of New Mexico (UNM). At UNM, Jose expanded his expertise by joining the color guard and contributing choreography for the UNM spirit color guard and various schools throughout the Albuquerque metro area. He also excelled in collegiate and all-star cheer, earning two national titles and teaching tumbling and acrobatics.

    Jose's extensive teaching experience includes positions at various studios, where he instructed students in acrobatics, jazz, ballet, and lyrical dance, while also choreographing for competitive teams. Currently in his fourth year as the head dance coach at Rio Rancho High School, he teaches pom, contemporary, and jazz techniques for competitive dance. Jose is excited to continue educating the youth of Rio Rancho at Green Dance Studio.

  • Kelly Crisman

    Kelly, a native of New Mexico and alumnus of V. Sue Cleveland High School, began his performing arts journey in 2012 with the school's marching band and drumline. Inspired by the color guard, he joined in 2014, starting his dance career.

    Kelly's passion led him to the Seattle Cascades Drum and Bugle Corps color guard in 2015, performing nationwide. He advanced to the Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps in 2016 and 2017, and then to the championship-winning Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps in 2018 and 2019. During this time, Kelly refined his dance skills, training under Scott Chandler in contemporary techniques such as Horton, Limón, and Ohad Naharin.

    Kelly is now eager to share his expertise with students, helping them expand their performance range, express themselves authentically, and master the fundamental techniques of contemporary dance.

  • Felicia Gonzales

    Felicia Gonzales began her dance career as a freshman in high school and later pursued her passion at New Mexico State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Contemporary Dance. During her time at NMSU, Felicia trained with renowned instructors, mastering the Laban and Bartenieff techniques. She was an active member of both the Contemporary and Hip-Hop dance companies.

    Felicia has choreographed numbers for two musicals, "Singing in the Rain" and "American Idiot," for Blank Conversations Theater Company in Las Cruces. Currently, she works as a high school science teacher and assists in coaching the Rio Rancho High School Color Guard. Felicia continues to dance and is dedicated to sharing her love for the art with others.
